My classes are personalized and tailored to your own unique situation. I provide a safe and unhurried atmosphere so that you will feel confident and comfortable voicing concerns (if present) and asking any questions you may have. Based on my many years of experience as a practicing midwife, both in hospital and in the community, I have carefully designed the content of my classes to be flexible and adaptable to everyone's unique needs.
I also offer early or pre-pregnancy classes to help you navigate the Irish maternity system, find out what maternity pathway may suit you best: from private to public, home birth or hospital birth, or a combination of both.

My aim is to help you gather the information you need to make your own informed choices, to help you gain confidence in your body and your natural ability to give birth to your beautiful baby. You will be given plenty of tips and advice so that you and your birth partner can relax and look forward to this very special journey into parenthood, whether you plan a hospital birth or home birth, vaginal birth or an elective C-section.
At present I do not provide antenatal group classes, but if you can gather with some friends, I am happy to accommodate a "group of friends" antenatal class or course, these can be real fun!
For first-time parents, I highly recommend my "Labour, Birth & Baby" course as outlined below which runs over three 90 to 120 min. sessions depending the amount of questions you may have along the way.
For those with less time on their hands, repeat parents or those with specific needs (example twins or planned C-section) I provide topic-specific programs .
All classes and courses can be taken on their own or as part of a "Midwifery Care & Support Package,
I allocate up to 2 hours for each class / session. I use slide show and video material during classes and there is plenty of time for chats and questions. Back-up information is provided by email and you will get a download link to my ebooks and work books.
